With one child in high school, one in middle school, and one at Wells Road, I see every day how different their needs are and how important it is that every student feels heard and supported. Teachers need that same support too.
That’s why I’ve stayed active in our schools and in Granby — volunteering with the PTO, Rovers Soccer Club, and showing up wherever I can to help. My husband, Nick, serves on the Inland and
Wetlands Commission and is a Free Mason, and together we chose Granby for the schools and the small-town community that makes this place so special.
In my career, I work in communications — a skill set that I believe is essential in education. Students, teachers, and parents all thrive when communication is open, clear, and collaborative. Growing up, I moved often and experienced both very large schools and a very small one. Those experiences showed me how much a supportive community matters, and how every student deserves to feel included.
I believe bringing the community together — parents, teachers, and residents — is the key to strengthening our schools and making sure every child in Granby can thrive.
